After the debacle in Iraq and Obama's promise to get us out of there, which he finally did later than we expected, is he about to send more U.S. troops in harms way to "spread democracy?" There is no question Assad is an evil dictator but is it really our role to police the world today, particularly with all our problems at home? Notice how the dictator is being portrayed above -- just as we do with all leaders we are about to go to war with (dehumanizing them, though in this case not making him into an animal). And what is behind this sudden humanitarian bombing campaign? Obama looks set to disappoint the progressives who had such high hopes for him yet again ...
